About

The Marlborough Horse Trials (MHT) is an exciting equestrian event held each fall at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Horses and riders compete in a triathlon of cross-country jumping, stadium jumping, and dressage. The 1017-acre Rosaryville State Park is located in southern Prince George’s County, about 15 miles southeast of Washington, D.C., and about 10 miles outside of the Capital Beltway.

The MHT cross-country course ranks with the best. The course is designed by Mogie Bearden-Muller and constructed by Craig Hayes. Our Stadium Jumping course designer is Kathy White. Since its inception in 1992, the horse trials have become a major equestrian staple and community event in the Southern Maryland region.
