A very special THANK YOU to Bill Moore and L. G. Moore Enterprises for going above and beyond in helping prepare our grounds.  We could not do it without them!

Volunteering has its rewards

Why volunteer?

Volunteering at Marlborough Horse Trials is rewarding in many ways.  We are blessed to have some of the friendliest volunteers in the equestrian community.  Even if you don't ride, you may know someone who does or just enjoy spending time in a beautiful park setting surrounded by some of the best people you'll ever meet.

We provide all full-day volunteers with a delicious lunch, a souvenur guft, and a free cross-country schooling pass.

If you have a Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop or other organization looking for community service hours, this is the place.  We need help in many areas of running the event, but we also need help setting up the week before and clean up in the days following the event.  Our event takes place in a state park and we are responsible to clean and maintain all areas used by the horse trials.  Please email our volunteer coordinator for more informatio at mhtvolunteer@gmail.com.

The Marlborough Horse Trials

January 15, 2012

The Marlborough Horse Trials began under a charter with the Rosaryville Conservancy in 1992. Today, we continue our partnership with the conservancy to maintain the beauty of Rosaryville State Park and continue to provide equestrians with a first-class event each year over rolling and wooded terrain.

We also host other events throughout the year, such as our ever popular Jumper Derby to prepare riders for spring events and give folks a chance to compete in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
